Instead of cursing his misfortune, Clyde Beats decided to embrace the chaos and incorporate the sounds of Derby’s favourite dish into his music.

To his amazement, the mishap resulted in a sound so peculiar, so irresistibly wonky, that Clyde Beats couldn’t help but groove along. He dubbed it “Jerk Beat” and the rest, as they say, is history.
